The Joint Minor Sport Registration at Conestoga Mall is held twice a year, once in early September and the other in the middle of February. This year?s fall event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7 and Thursday, Sept. 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This event is an opportunity for minor sport organizations, throughout the Kitchener and Waterloo area to come together in one spot, to provide useful information to the local community on how their children can stay active throughout the year.
You?ll have the ability to talk in person to a knowledgable member of the organization, who will be able to assist you.
Further, many organizations take registrations for their programs during this time.
The City of Waterloo does provide fee assistance, to those who qualify, to help cover the costs of participating in sport.
Sports covered at the registration include diving, swimming, table tennis, fencing, ringette, soccer, hockey, water polo, track and field, gymnastics, football and more. For a full list of partcipating sports organizations, visit www.waterloo.ca
