Whether it?s your favorite kitchen gadget, the dog toy that soothes Fido?s soul (and keeps him from driving you crazy), or the best, go-to tool in your workshop, think about something you love having around your house. If you like it, chances are other people will, too.
2. Be a problem solver. Think of something you own, an item that changed your life for the better. If you?re a dog owner who found a brush, a vacuum cleaner, or a magic potion that solved your dog-hair-in-the-house problem, think of all the other dog owners out there who still struggle with a pet who sheds too much. Tell your readers how this product saves you time and trouble ? and how it can do the same for them (or for someone on their gift list).
3. Be the bestie.? As you?re writing your lens, pretend you?re talking to your BFF. Tell her why you love this item and why it would make a great gift. Don?t write a sales pitch, just offer your friend a helping hand with information that will make her gift giving easier.
