Whenever it comes to losing weight then there are just two golden rules attached to it. One is to consume fewer calories; other is to burn off those calories by doing some high resistance exercises. Losing weight basically means you got to boost up the metabolism rate by following diet for good health. The metabolic rate is the rate at which your food intake is converted to energy. The higher your metabolic rate the faster you lose weight and the more energetic you feel.
As we get older our metabolic rate tends to die down, and that?s the prime reason why we put on weight even if we eat fewer calories than we used to while we were young. That?s why you will require more of working out, I?ll tell you exactly what kind of exercises you should follow which will make you knock off those pounds at a faster pace than usual.
The best time to work out is in the morning, as then all throughout the day your energy level would be at the peak and hence you would lose more weight than usual, that?s why start in the morning and kick off the day on a positive note.
However you can start with a few exercises for warm up like squats, jumping jacks, side to side hops, skipping, crunches, pushups, step ups etc, this will prepare your muscles for other work out and these exercises are very beneficial to rate up your metabolism. You can do these exercises for 10 minutes before starting your other exercises. According to me the most effective exercise that does wonders for losing weight is power yoga. After your initial warm up, you can straight away start power yoga and even doing it for 30 minutes daily would be highly beneficial. Power yoga is a more acceptable term in the west it is a derivation of Ashthanga yoga which includes a more progressive and vigorous series of postures. Power yoga has become popular as it is a good workout for the whole body, results in flexibility, toning & strength building. It can be termed as a good cardio exercise; it definitely leads to urgent weight loss. Even if you are not able do power yoga daily, than just by practicing it twice a week can also be super effective. Apart from burning calories, toning the body and increasing metabolism, power yoga even strengthens the muscles and builds lean muscles, improves focus and alleviates stress and tension. It improves your blood circulation giving you a calm mind and a strong and light body.
Always remember that foods which are high in nutrients and low in fat, sugar and salt should be consumed more in addition with these above mentioned exercises to give you a total fit and toned body.
